Ann has over 25 years of experience teaching dance, yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi for Arthritis and multiple fitness styles. She is a Certified Wellness Coach, Tai Chi for Arthritis Instructor, Pilates Instructor and holds a 200 hour certification in Power Vinyasa Yoga from South Hills Power Yoga in Pittsburgh, PA. Ann majored in dance in college and danced professionally from 1990-2003. She has been teaching ballet, pointe, jazz and modern dance since 1991.
An avid learner fascinated with the brain, Ann completed her Masters of Science in Clinical Counseling in 2004 and has worked as a mental health therapist since 1996, in a variety of settings. "The mind and body truly are one and I love a holistic approach."
In 2015, Ann opened MOVE YFD, fulfilling her dream of teaching a variety of movement styles in an environment welcoming to all ages and ability levels.
Ann and her husband, Jim, love the Lake Worth community in which they live and are excited to share this client-centered and community-based school with everybody and every body.
